Progress2Work

Do you have a history of drug misuse?
Do you need help to find a job?

If you are recovering from drug misuse, progress2work can help you get back into training and work, as well as sorting problems such as housing or debt.

The programme which is funded by Jobcentre Plus is voluntary and you don’t necessarily have to be claiming benefit to get the support.

How will progress2work work for me?
Jobcentre Plus will refer you to a provider who works with specialist partners in your area who offer treatment, support and training.

You will be given a caseworker who will support you through your drug treatment, if necessary. They will also help you find training that will help you to gain the skills and confidence you may need to prepare you for going back to work.

Your caseworker will be there to help you look for and apply for work. They will also help you with such problems that may be holding you back such as housing or debt.

When you are in work or training, your caseworker will stay in touch with you for up to 13 weeks. They will support and help you with any problems that you may have during this time.
